Dr. P. Kannappan is currently a Consultant Obstetrician, Gynaecologist and Fertility Specialist in Sunway Medical Centre and is also the Clinical Director of Sunway Fertility Centre since 2015. He was formerly the Head of the Reproductive Medicine Unit in Hospital Kuala Lumpur for nearly three years. He completed his IVF training at KK Hospital Singapore in year 2007 and was gazetted as Sub-specialist in Reproductive Medicine by Ministry of Health in year 2008. Since then he has been has been actively involved in providing IVF services and has contributed to the training of specialists and sub-specialists in this field. His passion is in management of male infertility and recently completed an attachment with the Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, US. His other areas of expertise include minimal invasive surgery with special interest in hysteroscopic surgery, robotic surgery and microsurgical tubal reanastomosis. Throughout these years he has been actively involved in organizing many local and regional scientific meeting as well as in scientific publications. He was the Head of the O & G Department in Hospital Muar from 2001 to 2002.
