Dr Sheila Loh is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and Reproductive Medicine Specialist. Dr Loh is currently Managing Partner of Raffles Women’s Centre, Raffles Hospital and Clinical Director, Raffles Fertility Centre, Raffles Hospital, Singapore, and is currently a member of the Ministry of Health Pro-Tem Committee for Human Tissue Framework (2015 – 2017).
Dr Loh underwent subspeciality training in reproductive endocrinology and IVF Centre management at Repromed, Adelaide, Australia and the University of Adelaide in 1998. She was appointed Head of the Reproductive Medicine department and KKIVF, Singapore from 2001 to 2007. Dr Loh was the Chairperson for Reproductive Medicine Subspecialty, College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists Singapore from 2005 to 2011, Secretary for College of O&G Singapore (2011 – 2013) and Treasurer for College of O&G Singapore (2013 – 2015). She has been on the Scientific Committees for several Singapore International Congresses of Obstetrics & Gynaecology from 2009 to 2013. She was the country representative and board member for Asia-Pacific Initiative on Reproduction (ASPIRE) from 2010 to 2012 and also a member of the Asia-Pacific Fertility Advisory Expert Panel from 2012 to 2017. Dr Loh has been a member of the Ministry of Health Committee for Assisted Reproduction Programme (2002 to 2007), Ministry of Health Tissue Banking Committee (resource person) (2015 to 2017).
