This case illustrates a 16-year-old girl who presented with acute abdominal pain. An initial diagnosis of acute appencitis was made. The patient was subjected for an emergency laparoscopic appendicectomy, where fallopian tube torsion was found. Although spontaneous torsion of fallopian tube is quite rare, its diagnosis should be considered and properly evaluated.
